Warehouse Associate

Lapp Tannehill, a Savage, MN wire and cable distributor is currently seeking Warehouse Associate to join our team. If you are hardworking with a positive attitude, honest, value family and teamwork, then we may be a good fit for you!

Responsibilities
  • Picks all orders regardless of shipping method.
  • Process all orders and informs the Warehouse Supervisor of any problems.
  • Runs respooler/cutter as required.
  • Communicate with sales and purchasing
  • Incoming and Outgoing Inspection
  • Fills, packages, and ships orders.
  • Verifies receipt of items on purchase orders.
  • Stores and maintains products in their appropriate locations.
  • Assists in loading and unloading deliveries and shipments.
  • Assists with customer will call.
  • Keeps all warehouse work areas clean and safe.
  • Practice safety and quality programs.
  • Willing to work overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Basic mathematical skills required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • UPS World Ship and Fed X Ship Manager a plus
  • Ability to work well with others and follow directions
  • Oral & written communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Dependable
  • Must be able to maneuver 75+ lbs. on a regular basis
  • This position regularly requires employees to stand, bend, walk, lift and reach
