Omega World Travel is looking to hire an experienced Branch Office Manager to join our growing company. The Branch Office Manager will provide management for a prestigious US military travel office location. The position is located at an onsite military location in Camp Pendleton South, California.
Responsibilities:
โข Constantly motivating the travel consultant team to meet their performance standards
โข Handling the recruitment, selection and retention of staff as well as staff training
โข Communicating with travel consultants and providing encouragement, help and advice
โข Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints
โข Managing budgets and maintaining statistical/financial records
โข Monitoring phone systems and maintaining phone priorities, as determined by call volume
โข Selling travel services and products
โข Liaison with travel partners, including airlines, hotels and car rental companies,
โข Dealing with customer inquiries and aiming to meet their expectations;
โข Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the office.
Required Skills:
โข Strong written and verbal communication skills
โข Excellent customer service skills
โข Strong leadership and team-building skills
โข Knowledge of GDS systems; Sabre or Apollo required
โข Minimum of 5 years travel agency experience
