Job description

The primary focus of the Workplace Operations Intern is to represent ALKU at the reception desk and throughout the Andover office while providing general administrative support to the Workplace Operations team. The perfect candidate will be an organized problem solver who is excited to own office upkeep and daily administrative duties.
Compensation: $15/hour
Core Responsibilities
Front Desk Hospitality & Guest Relations
  • Act as the primary face of ALKU at the reception desk, warmly greeting all incoming guests, vendors, and interview candidates.
  • Coordinate directly with the Internal Recruiting (IR) team regarding daily interview schedules.
  • Maintain and organize the guest schedule on the central calendar.
  • Serve as a champion and ambassador of ALKU culture within the Andover office.

Office Maintenance & Inventory Management
  • Maintain the stock, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of kitchens and common areas.
  • Manage and restock the Executive Kitchen according to team preferences.
  • Monitor, order, and restock office supplies and general operational inventory.
  • Oversee and maintain snack supplies for the Andover office and all designated Training Centers.
  • Manage the Andover office background music to keep the environment high-energy.

Mail, Logistics & Executive Support
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing company mail and packages, including creating external shipping labels.
  • Coordinate, order, set up, and break down daily company catering and lunch orders for the Executive Team.
  • Place, set up, and break down the weekly Thursday morning bagel orders.
  • Perform additional administrative duties and special operational projects as needed.
