Job Function
LOTH is looking for a Workplace Designer to join an amazing team to work on creating Human Centered designs for the corporate, higher education, healthcare, and hospitality environments. The person in this position will collaborate with our Sales, Coordination, and Installation teams to create the best solutions for our clients. This person will connect quickly with our clients, be self-motivated, prioritize workload, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
  • Through meetings with the client our Designers are responsible for discovering a customer’s “why” and the business issues they need us to solve for.
  • Our Designers work passionately to put the best design concepts out into our market while creating an inspiring customer experience.
  • We place our Designers at the beginning of the sales process. Giving them the responsibility, along with Sales, to demonstrate why space matters and how through thoughtful design we can creating inspiring spaces.
  • Collecting design intent, programming information, and overall project end goal.
  • Creating layouts and applications customized to each customer needs.
  • Creating Furniture and Design Intent packages.
  • Selecting and specifying furniture, architectural products, and finishes.
  • Occasionally, selecting and specifying interior finish packages (including flooring, paint, and lighting).
  • Creating detailed furniture plan documentation for client approval and installation.
  • Ability to create and manage small to large design requests.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Interior Design Degree from 4-5yr Accredited Interior Design Program
  • 3-5 years of design experience
  • CET Configura experience preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel outside of the office, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs. Required to pass a drug and background check.
