Your role as an LCSW will involve a range of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting detailed clinical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients navigate their emotional and psychological challenges.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of nurses, physicians, and additional mental health professionals to create a comprehensive care strategy for clients.
• Participating in regular case reviews and peer consultation meetings aimed at enhancing the quality of care and sharing knowledge across the team.
• Providing education to patients and their family members about mental health conditions, therapy processes, and accessing community resources, empowering them towards informed decision-making.
• Staying current with developments in the mental health field to consistently implement best practices in your work, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

The primary focus of this role is on hospice patients, often experiencing complex emotional and psychological needs. In this sensitive environment, you will support individuals facing terminal illnesses, offering specialized therapeutic approaches that address grief, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Your work will directly impact their quality of life and help alleviate distress during a pivotal time.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, showcasing a strong foundation in clinical practices.
• Active LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania, validating your qualifications to practice within this field.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in mental health, with specific exposure to working in hospice or palliative care settings being highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques, enabling you to provide effective and personalized care based on individual client needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster meaningful connections with clients and their families, contributing to positive therapeutic relationships.

Experience in hospice and palliative care is preferred, as well as familiarity with grief counseling and end-of-life discussions. Candidates who have utilized tools such as electronic health records (EHR) systems, along with training in trauma-informed care frameworks, will find their skills particularly beneficial in this role.

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
