Job description

Workforce Planning Specialist

Location: This is a hybrid position. Must live in commutable distance to White Flint/ Rockville, MD.

***This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. ***

Description:

OBAN Corporation is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to support a federal agency client. The Workforce Planning Specialist will be part of a new centralized shared services model team. Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, and reporting on current and future staffing needs. Other responsibilities may also include:

  • Recruitment and Talent Management
  • Strategic Planning
  • Workforce Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years' relevant experience within a federal agency.
  • Demonstrated excellence in recruitment, talent management, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management, reporting using Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to be able to interact with a wide variety of staff and senior management.
  • Demonstrated excellence in time and project management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and analysis skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearances.
  • U.S. Citizen.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Power BI.
  • Certification as a Certified Workforce Planning Professional (CWPP).
