What We Need:

The Immigration Specialist is an established performer that provides international mobility program administration in compliance with immigration and employment laws and regulations. This role will involve working closely with employees, managers, legal counsel, and government agencies to facilitate the immigration and mobility process and support our global workforce. 

What You'll Do:

Support global mobility programs, including international assignments, relocations, and cross-border transfers, ensuring a seamless employee experience for both employees and their families.

Assist employees and their families with completing and complying with immigration requirements, including procedures necessary to acquire country-specific work authorizations, visas, and permits.

Counsel potential and selected expatriate candidates on mobility policies, relocation benefits, tax implications, and immigration processes; provide ongoing support throughout the full assignment lifecycle (pre-assignment through repatriation).

Coordinate and manage relocation logistics in partnership with external vendors (e.g., relocation providers, tax advisors), ensuring adherence to company policy and a positive employee experience.

Monitor the immigration and assignment status of employees, proactively managing renewals, expirations, extensions, and repatriation timelines.

Ensure all immigration and mobility-related documentation is completed accurately, maintained appropriately, and submitted in a timely manner.

Analyze financial results of relocation and expatriate programs, including assignment costs and vendor spending, and communicate insights to business leaders to align budgets and forecasts with actual spend.

Stay current on changes in global immigration, tax, and mobility regulations; ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

Partner closely with legal counsel, tax providers, and internal stakeholders to interpret regulations and address compliance considerations related to international assignments and workforce mobility.

Maintain accurate records and reporting related to immigration cases, assignments, and mobility program metrics.

Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to assess and support candidates requiring immigration sponsorship or relocation assistance as part of the hiring and onboarding process.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of mobility policies, processes, and employee communications.

Perform other duties as needed.

What You Have:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.

2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

What You're Good At:

Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.

Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
