Job description

Corporate Affairs proactively manages social,politicaland reputational risks and engages the workforce to advance the business. We strengthen Chevron's strategic advocacy, communications, and social investments to build confidence in our company and industry.

Communications

Supports and achieves Chevron's goals by telling our story to key audiences to build an understanding of our industry and confidence in our knowledge,expertiseand ability to achieve results the right way.

We are seeking a candidate(s) who can effectively create communications that engage external and internal audiences through media relations, social/digital media, and internal communications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Support tasks related to corporate media relations, employee communications, executive communications, digital and social media engagement,eventsand brand management.

Policy andGovernment Affairs

Leads andinfluencespolicy development and advocacy on behalf of the corporation with key public stakeholders at thestate,federaland international government levels.

We areseeking acandidate(s) with an awareness of the implications of theUSpolitical structure and environment in which the energy sectoroperates. Also seeking experience infederal and/orinternational policy as well as an understanding of legislative and regulatory processes within the United States at the state and federal levels.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze policy/regulatory issues in countries where Chevronoperates. Provide support on advocacy initiatives on Chevron's positions before government, trade, and other third-party organizations. Track and report on key U.S. and foreign policy issues in specific regions. When directed, prepare responses to outside inquiries on Chevron's positions on issues, and attend briefings and congressional hearings on foreignand domesticpolicy, legislative, or regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

To qualify, individuals mustbe a rising senior or graduate studentandhave or be pursuing abachelor's or master'sdegree aligned with our functional areas.

Location:

The 2026Corporate Affairs summer internshipswillbeinHouston,TexasorWashington, D.C.Additional U.S.locations may be added based on business need.

Compensation:
Theanticipatedsalaryrange for2026Corporate Affairs summerinternposition is$26- $36/hour.The selected candidate'scompensation will bedeterminedbased on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
