Work Type: Full Time - Remote

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 4:30:00PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$21.54 - $26.93 / hour

Summary

Intake analyst position is the point position for all internal/external referrals. Works with client, business office, and third party payer to determine eligibility, facilitate admissions, and continued stay. Responsible to ensure an uninterrupted flow in the client referral and admission process. Responsible for processing communications concerning intake of potential clients, initial phone screening to determine eligibility, and scheduling initial assessment appointments. Utilizes knowledge of managed care procedures including pre-certification and concurrent review. Will be responsible for obtaining initial service authorization, continued stay authorization, and manage service denials. Attends clinical staffing and coordinates third party appeal process with payers. Other responsibilities to include insurance verification, maintaining data base on calls, facilitation completion of all assessments, ensuring follow-up on all internal and external referrals.
