Data BA (HR) - - Supporting / Migrating / Transforming HR Project

Location: NY / Alpharetta – Hybrid

Defines HR data requirements and validates Snowflake dataset designs across all prioritized Snowflake initiatives — PRISM Historical Data Integration, ER Case Management, Talent Program Nominations, BO Decommission, and AskHR Data Operations — mapping source systems to Snowflake and ensuring governance compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•            Define data requirements and acceptance criteria for each prioritized Snowflake initiative: PRISM Historical Data Integration, ER Case Management, Talent Program Nominations, BO Decommission, and AskHR Data Operations.

•            Map source HR data systems (Workday, Dynamics 365/D365, Adobe AEM, Taleo/RDW) to target Snowflake dataset structures for each initiative.

•            Validate Snowflake datasets against business requirements: data completeness, accuracy, transformation correctness, and entitlement compliance.

•            Develop data validation test scenarios for ingestion and integration layers across all five initiatives.

•            Support design of Power BI reporting requirements on top of Snowflake datasets for each initiative.

•            Collaborate with Snowflake Developers and Java Developer on data integration design and API ingestion patterns.

•            Document data dictionaries, lineage maps, and dataset specifications per initiative.

•            Ensure all data designs comply with firm data governance, privacy, and access-control standards.

•            Manage requirements across multiple parallel data initiatives, maintaining clear prioritization and traceability.

Skills & Experience Required

•            5+ years as a data BA or data analyst in HR data platforms or financial services.

•            Familiarity with multiple HR data sources: Workday, Dynamics 365, Adobe AEM, Taleo.

•            SQL proficiency for data validation, query review, and transformation logic assessment.

•            Power BI reporting requirements and semantic layer design experience.

•            Ability to manage requirements across multiple parallel data initiatives simultaneously.

•            US EST business-hour availability required.

Preferred Qualifications

•            Experience with Snowflake data modeling patterns and RBAC security design.

•            Background in HR analytics, headcount reporting, or workforce data products.

•            Familiarity with BO reporting migration and data lineage analysis.
