Job Description
Purpose:
The Sr Specialist, BHR will be a trusted partner to the Allergan Aesthetics BHR Team, helping to shape our culture, support our business strategies and talent strategies to make a remarkable impact. They will leverage best-in-class HR practices to continually construct, deliver and support initiatives and communications for Aesthetics BHR and the clients, and make an impact on all employees at all levels of the organization. This incumbent partners strategically with our HRConnect organization, Total Rewards, Employee Relations and Talent Management for key initiatives around the Allergan Aesthetics US business. This position will also help integrate AI processes where applicable to help the BHR team increase efficiencies in key activities.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a strategic partner to the AA BHR Team and AA Commercial Business, developing and supporting strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions. Assist or lead proposals and recommendations to resolve strategically important issues affecting a business segment. Prioritize projects based on business need and available resources.
• Support key strategic activities in strong partnership with Director BHR, to support SVP of US Aesthetics division and the US AA Leadership Team.
• Proactively review and create tools and decks around HR analytics to help leaders understand workforce trends. Partner with BHR to ensure alignment customization for different functions.
• HR lead for headcount analytics and auditing, in strong partnership with AA Finance team. Monitor headcount trends, ensuring hiring accuracy and management of workforce in alignment with headcount plans.
• Lead and deliver coordinated communications on HR levers for the US Aesthetics organization, from the US AA BHR mailbox. Centralize communications for BHR Team, as well as communication plans for HR COE initiatives.
• Complete exit interviews, and process terminations, coupled with analyzing and providing metrics on workforce analytics for US AA trends.
• Establishes, builds and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all Practice Areas and Centers of Excellence to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; includes relationship management, leadership, HR roles/responsibilities, and service delivery commitments. Some examples include (but not limited to) partnering during key cycles (year end processes, mid year reviews, promotion cycles, etc.)
• Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization.
• Must be able to understand and utilize historical and broad organizational data when weighing business HR decisions and actions. Able to understand all the options available and the potential impact of those options across the respective business units, as well as within the larger AbbVie/Allergan Aesthetics business.
• Identification of trends and new approaches to business processes should be both incremental as well as "ahead of the curve". Initiatives and changes to current business processes must have a clear linkage with other organizational efforts being proposed or already ongoing in the respective business.
• Assist in the diagnosis, development and delivery of HR strategies, programs and services that influence and drive the needs of the respective business. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures
• Develop and drive agenda content for BHR Team meetings on routine basis.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years experience, with experience managing projects in prior roles.
  • Understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for data analytics and reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational development activity preferred.
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
  • Learns fast, grasps the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where indicated.
  • Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
  • Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint required. Preference for experience with Workday and Visier.
