Job Posting Title - Workday Senior Manager - Finance
Position Purpose

  • The Workday Senior Manager reports to the Workday Director and is accountable for assessing, designing, and delivering solutions that improve the performance and strategic impact of the Workday platform. This role oversees system evaluation and analytical activities to support operational enhancements within a designated domain-such as Spend, Finance, Payroll, HCM, or Technology.
  • The ideal candidate brings deep functional knowledge across both business operations and technical system capabilities, allowing them to independently architect solutions, diagnose issues, and resolve complex challenges.
  • Additionally, this role includes leadership responsibility for a team, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes. Strong collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, peers, technical teams, and operational partners, is essential to translate business requirements into scalable and effective system solutions.

Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of Workday sustainment experience, either in configuration or as an implementer, preferably with a Partner.
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant business operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in healthcare or higher education is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred.
  • Workday Pro or Partner-issued Implementation certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain Workday Pro certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Proven experience in analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing business processes, procedures, and best practices.
