Technical Signals Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a Technical Signals Analyst, you know that the intelligence community provides national leaders the information they need to keep our country safe. As a lead intelligence analyst at Booz Allen, you'll use your proficient problem-solving skills to secure national assets through research and analysis of sensitive information. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients obtain information superiority and map the complex electromagnetic spectrum to outpace evolving adversarial threats.
This is your opportunity to use your expertise in signals intelligence (SIGINT) and have a global impact. As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll lead our national intelligence clients in the areas of waveform characterization, RF theory, and advanced signal processing. Overseeing a team of highly technical signal analysts and protocol analysts, you'll develop and deploy cutting-edge technology. From project discovery to influencing mission stakeholders, you'll guide your team as it solves complex problems that have an end-to-end impact on our nation.

You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience conducting technical signals analysis to support targeting, including terrestrial or satellite-based signals such as cellular bands or microwave links
  • Experience conducting analysis against signals across multiple signal and technology types
  • Experience leveraging signal wave propagation models that clearly communicate how RF signals travel in various terrains, including rural or urban environments
  • Experience conducting analysis on intelligence, including SIGINT, to deliver clear, actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical clients, including leadership
  • Knowledge of a variety of signal protocols and data transmission methods, including CDMA, FDMA, and OFDMA
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Analysis field

Nice If You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in technical signals analysis on multiple signal types
  • Experience executing analysis in support of both military and non-military clients
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Analysis, or similar field
  • Amateur Radio Certification at the Technician Class or higher

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
