What You'll Do
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage recruitment, interviewing, and staffing agency partnerships for hourly and temporary employees
  • Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, employee relations, and offboarding
  • Coordinate employee services such as access control, locker assignments, and employee purchase programs
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation
  • Create and process HR tickets, forms, and personnel change requests
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee questions regarding People & Culture programs and policies
  • Conduct employee orientations and compliance training programs
  • Support workers' compensation administration and related documentation
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and People & Culture projects
  • Generate and analyze Workday reports related to staffing, attendance, and workforce metrics
  • Provide administrative support, including office supply ordering and event coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Build positive working relationships with employees, leaders, and external partners
  • Support operational needs across Nashville and Mt. Juliet distribution centers
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources or related experience required
  • Prior experience working with HRIS systems, including Workday, strongly preferred

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to respond to employee questions with empathy, professionalism, and credibility
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems and technologies
  • Ability to travel regularly between Nashville and Mt. Juliet locations

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • This position requires full on-site attendance five (5) days per week at the Nashville and/or Mt. Juliet Distribution Center based on business needs
  • Pay rate is $24-26/hour
