Job description

Product Owner (Power Platform / D365 ) - Divestiture, Tenant Migration & Automation Modernization
This role will serve as the Product Owner leading delivery for a tenant separation initiative. The individual will own the product backlog, lead discovery efforts to define migration scope and requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a fully independent, modernized environment by go-live. The majority of this role (approx. 70%) is focused on discovery and migration of legacy automation platforms (Nintex, Blue Prism, Kofax) to Power Platform. The remaining capacity (approx. 30%) supports the combined Power Platform and Dynamics 365 tenant-to-tenant (T2T) migration and platform separation effort, coordinating scope, dependencies, and shared discovery activities across both domain teams.

Key Responsibilities

Backlog Ownership & Delivery Leadership
  • Lead and prioritize the tenant migration and legacy automation replacement backlog from discovery through go-live
  • Translate divestiture requirements and migration scope into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Manage delivery cadence with developers, Power Platform admins, and delivery partners
Tenant Migration & Platform Separation - Power Platform & Dynamics 365
  • Support analysis and delivery related to the combined Power Platform and Dynamics 365 tenant-to-tenant (T2T) migration and supporting integrations
  • Partner closely with cross-functional business and technical teams throughout the migration to validate that their specific automations and solutions have been successfully migrated, confirming functionality, data integrity, and business process continuity before sign-off
Legacy Automation Discovery & Migration
  • Lead discovery of existing Nintex workflows to define requirements for migration to Power Automate, including process mapping, data flow, and dependency documentation
  • Lead discovery of existing Blue Prism automations to define requirements for migration to Power Automate, assessing which processes should be migrated, rebuilt, or retired
  • Conduct current-state discovery of RPA and workflow automations spanning enterprise applications (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, and others) to document integration touchpoints and business process dependencies
  • Define requirements for net-new integrations and automations required to bridge independent application instances at go-live
  • Partner with technical teams to assess Kofax and other legacy platforms for Power Platform replacement viability
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the liaison between business process owners, IT, delivery partners, and the Dynamics 365 domain team
  • Surface risks, decisions, and blockers proactively; escalate where needed to stay on track for go-live

Skills & Experience
  • Candidate must have strong, hands-on working knowledge of the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem - able to navigate solutions, environments, connectors, and configurations.
  • Proven Product Owner or delivery lead experience on tenant migration, divestiture/carve-out, or platform separation programs is preferred
  • Hands-on experience migrating or replacing legacy automation platforms (Nintex, Blue Prism, Kofax, or similar) with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is preferred
  • Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC), solution-aware environments, PowerShell/pac CLI, and migration/discovery tooling
  • Solid conceptual understanding of Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and role-based access
  • Strong communicator who can bridge technical teams and business stakeholders
