Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:
  • Create and post 24-hour/48-hour locked schedules.
  • Schedules to comply with Union regulations.
  • Monitor and communicate forecasted labor demand fluctuations to key production stakeholders and HR.
  • Provide advance notice of labor shortages within one-week planning window.
  • Coordinate temporary labor deployments.
  • Attend daily planning sessions with BU supervisors in reaction to attendance related challenges.
  • Work closely with HR to provide input for schedule conflict resolution.
  • Accountable to KPIs (TBD) measuring labor scheduling efficacy.
  • Ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Working knowledge of integrated HR Management platforms (Workday)
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships both internally, across operational functions.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and self-motivation to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated values of collaboration, ownership, integrity, and care.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience at a minimum in Manufacturing setting.
  • Working in food manufacturing is preferred.
