United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020. UIS is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan) which was founded in Taiwan in 1982. UIS is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company. We provide fully integrated design-build services to our clients in the high-technology industry for their manufacturing facility needs. Our scope of services includes engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery in which clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up, are all vital parts in need of total coordination.

Summary:

United Integrated Services (USA) is looking for a BIM Modeler to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our lead architects and engineers to develop design documents and create digital 3D models based on project needs. The ideal candidate experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Visual Design & Construction (VDC) in a commercial construction environment, using REVIT or Navisworks to develop drawings.

** This is a full-time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ **

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Interpret and understand architectural and structural drawings and details.
  • Produce new drawings or edit existing prints based on system department needs and directions.
  • Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule.
  • Demonstrate an understanding or accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports, and scaling.
  • Ability to use REVIT and Navisworks to develop and monitor designs.
  • Monitor and detect clashes within drawings, using Navisworks.
  • Update models to reflect as-built conditions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Construction Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), and MS Power Apps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting or independently.
  • Detail oriented, strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions. International travel may be required.
