Student Employment and Work-Study positions provide students with opportunities to gain valuable work experience while supporting various departments, programs, offices, and community partners. Positions may be located on campus or with approved off-campus organizations. Duties and responsibilities vary based on the specific assignment and departmental needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with departmental guidelines and expectations.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist with administrative, clerical, technical, programmatic, or operational functions as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Follow all college policies, procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in the workplace.
  • Complete assigned projects and duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for student employment or work-study positions, students must:
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the applicable academic year so the college can determine the appropriate funding source for employment.
  • Be enrolled in at least six (6) curriculum credit hours.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements for Federal Student Aid.
