A Work From Home Physical Design Engineer is responsible for the back-end design and implementation of integrated circuits (ICs) while working remotely. They handle tasks such as floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), routing, and timing closure to ensure chip performance and manufacturability. These engineers collaborate with other teams, including RTL designers and verification engineers, using electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
