These programs are designed to help students and professionals gain hands-on cloud computing skills by working on projects, internships, or apprenticeships in partnership with employers. Participants learn about cloud infrastructure, deployment, and AWS services, making them more competitive in the job market. Such programs often include mentorship, industry certifications, and exposure to real business challenges.

How does participating in an AWS work based learning program help prepare candidates for a cloud-focused career?

Participating in an AWS Work-Based Learning Program offers hands-on experience with key AWS cloud services, allowing candidates to apply classroom concepts to real-world projects. You'll typically collaborate with mentors and teammates in a structured environment, working on tasks such as cloud migration, automation, and security configuration. This immersion helps build both technical and professional skills, making you more competitive for roles such as cloud support associate or solutions architect. Additionally, exposure to industry best practices and networking opportunities within the program can significantly accelerate your career growth in cloud computing.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a work based learning program focused on AWS, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Work-Based Learning Program focused on AWS, you need foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts, basic programming skills, and familiarity with networking, supported by relevant coursework or entry-level certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner. Job description

Job Type
Full-time
Description
Behavioral Health Home (BHH) Program Administrator
Are you a driven, accountable leader who is also an experienced case manager who is tired of the status quo in behavioral health? Do you believe that providing exceptional, client-centered care starts with building a deeply collaborative, well-supported team?
Welcome to Alternative Wellness Services (AWS). We are not your average agency. We are a true learning organization built on accountability, transparency, and a commitment to helping both our clients and our staff thrive. We run our agency using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), meaning you will step into a culture that values clear expectations, open communication, and getting the "Right People in the Right Seats" to ensure operational excellence.
We are seeking a dynamic BHH Program Administrator to serve as the operational leader for our Behavioral Health Home program (adult case management). Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be supported by a Clinical Coordinator and two Program Coordinators (who handle the direct supervision of BHH staff) to ensure the program operates smoothly.
In this role, you will monitor our metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize care and efficiency by balancing referral systems for regionalized caseloads. You will also communicate closely with our access team regarding our capacity for new clients.
To ensure you keep your finger on the pulse of what service delivery looks like for this population-and to help continuously improve our systems when issues occur-you will maintain a small, manageable caseload to help grow our program. Additionally, you will actively participate in community meetings and network with external providers.
The team member currently holding this role is transitioning to help develop a new program within AWS. Because they are staying within the agency, you will have ample access to the information, hands-on training, and support you need for a smooth handoff. This is an in person position, which has a home base office, but must be willing to travel for program needs.
Why Choose AWS?
We know that to take exceptional care of our clients, we must take exceptional care of our leaders. We invest heavily in our team and offer a culture where you can actually enjoy coming to work:
  • Full Benefits Package: Health, Dental, LTD, STD, Life, 401k and EAP.
  • FREE Health Coverage: We offer a health insurance option that is 100% free to the employee. If you prefer an enhanced plan, we also offer two other low-cost options.
  • A Culture of Connection & Boundaries: We work hard, but we genuinely enjoy being together. We host all-agency days several times a year to step away from the desk, have fun, and celebrate our collective success. We also deeply respect your time off the clock. When you are here, you are all in-but when you step away, it is your time!
  • Unmatched Professional Growth: As a learning organization, we give you the tools, autonomy, and continuous development you need to build better systems and advance your career.
  • Competitive Compensation: We offer a highly competitive salary of $58,500 to $66,500 annually.
Core Responsibilities
This is not just a desk job; it is an opportunity to shape the future of our BHH program. You will balance high-level administrative strategy with a hands-on approach. As our BHH Program Administrator, you will:
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Own the BHH program's operational success, managing growth projections, pacing, and strategic staff assignments.
  • Lead and Empower: Provide direct, supportive administrative supervision to a multidisciplinary leadership team.
  • Foster Our Culture: Embody our agency values, a culture of trauma-informed care and professional growth using our EOS framework to ensure every team member succeeds.
  • Ensure Integrity: Monitor Pay-for-Performance (P4P) measures, oversee authorizations, and finalize claims to keep our programs healthy and accurate.
  • Collaborate & Connect: Act as the face of AWS at state-level meetings and build strong, impactful partnerships within our community.
Who You Are
You are a model leader who leads by example, takes extreme ownership of your program, and thrives in an environment of shared responsibility. You bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related human services field preferred.
  • An active MHRT-C certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, staff supervision, and performance management.
  • Advanced technical proficiency for navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and administrative platforms.

Ready to make a real impact? If you are ready to join an agency driven by accountability, exceptional care, and community growth, we want to hear from you. Apply today and let's grow together.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required.
  • Master's degree (MSW, MHC, or related) strongly preferred. โ€ข MHRT-C certification required (or Level A/B with plan for full certification).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health, including at least one year in a supervisory, lead, or program coordination role.
  • Demonstrated competence in integrated behavioral health models, care coordination, co-occurring conditions, and client-centered planning.
  • Administrative skills in scheduling, documentation review, onboarding, and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Must pass all applicable background checks (criminal, child protective, and sex offender registries) and not appear on any exclusion lists.
  • Valid Maine Driver's License and a good driving record required.
