Position Summary:
Marucci Sports is looking for a woodworker to join our team! The Woodworker will be responsible for sanding, prepping and cupping baseball bats following the company's quality standards. This role will also safely operate various machines and equipment involved in production process.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sanding, prepping, boning, cupping, and various other tasks.
  • Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications. Assigned machines may include a chop saw, hobby lathe, drum sander, and similar equipment.
  • Produces the required quantity of bats within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Works mainly with Trophy, Cage, and Retail orders.
  • Measures finished bats with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintains proper storage for material and product inventory.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on safety.
  • Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Position Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
