Description
Tague Lumber is seeking a skilled Production Woodworker to join our Custom Millwork team in Phoenixville, PA. This role is responsible for setting up and operating woodworking machinery to produce high-quality molding and millwork products. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with woodworking experience who takes pride in craftsmanship, precision, and working as part of a team committed to quality and safety.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Set up and operate wood moulding machines using provided samples or drawings
  • Adjust tooling and machine settings to achieve accurate profiles and dimensions
  • Operate and maintain equipment including:
    • Moulding machine
    • Table saw
    • Straight-line rip saw
    • Jointer
    • Planer
    • Edge bander
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to align, load, and process materials
  • Monitor production and maintain daily reports of materials produced
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Comply with all safety rules, training, and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when working with team members and supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Millwork Division Manager

Working Conditions
This position is based in a mill shop environment and involves frequent standing, lifting, bending, and operating machinery. Employees may be exposed to wood dust, noise, and moving equipment. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.

  • Previous woodworking or millwork experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
