Job description

Are you early in your woodworking or carpentry career and ready to build real-world experience in a professional fabrication studio?

At Aardvark Studios, we design and build immersive environments for experiential marketing, exhibits, and installations. We're looking for an Entry Level Woodworker who is eager to learn, ready to work hard, and excited to grow alongside experienced woodworkers and tradespeople.

Students and recent trade school graduates are encouraged to apply.

This is a hands-on, temporary, project-based role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Woodworker position based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

What makes you the ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with woodworking tools and equipment in a school, workshop, or professional setting
  • Comfortable safely operating a table saw (required)
  • Familiarity with basic shop tools:
    • Miter saw
    • Drill/driver
    • Orbital sander
    • Clamps and layout tools
    • Routers 
  • Working knowledge of basic carpentry hand tools and shop machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with experienced woodworkers
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift materials safely and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to read basic shop drawings and dimensions
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take direction
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
Physical Requirements 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
