Overall responsibility for managing and coordinating assigned Wood Processing sales projects in North America, both technically and commercially. This includes performing or coordinating equipment dimensioning, quotation preparation, pricing and customer interface for our Wood Processing proposals

Performing as Wood Processing sales team leader for multi product line proposals.

Education

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Pulp & Paper sciences, Chemical engineering, Mechanical engineering or equivalent

Experience

  • Good knowledge of industrial wood yard equipment and unit operations
  • Two to five years of operational or service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pulp mill wood yard or operations a plus
  • Previous sales experience is not a requirement; however right customer-oriented and self-driven attitude and being organized is.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer interface for proposal work
  • Perform or coordinate Wood Processing proposal engineering, dimensioning and quotation preparation
  • Overall responsibility for quotation pricing
  • Internal and external interfacing
  • Assigned marketing duties
  • Travel in North America for customer meetings as well as potential overseas travel for internal training and meetings
