Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced WMS Super User to support daily warehouse operations by acting as the subject matter expert for our Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role is critical in ensuring system accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all WMS-related questions and issues

  • Provide real-time support to warehouse staff on system usage and transactions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve WMS errors, inventory discrepancies, and transaction issues

  • Train new and existing employees on WMS processes and best practices

  • Assist with system configuration, updates, testing, and implementations

  • Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and audits

  • Partner with IT and operations teams to escalate and resolve complex system issues

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

  • Create and maintain SOPs, training guides, and process documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in a distribution or warehouse environment

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control)

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system and operational issues

  • Good communication skills and ability to train and support team members

  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and data entry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with WMS platforms such as SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or Oracle

  • Previous experience as a lead, trainer, or system “super user”

  • Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and root cause analysis

  • Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse automation tools
