Your role as a IT - WMS Super User
Key responsibilities:
Job Purpose:
Toeffectively manage the IT and WMS functions on site andprovide a level of service in line with customer requirements, at a level ofcost agreed in the budget. To create and developa professional culture on site, in line with our values and ensurethat a positive attitude to Health & Safety is embedded within the team onsite. To become an expert in all IT related systems and softwareprograms, to provide full support with suppliers.
Responsibilities& Core Tasks
Verify that that agreed Customer SOPs are executed with precision and withoutdeviation. Unless previously stated by the Site Manager.
Continually monitoring all IT hardware on site to make sure all is ingood repair.
Training and indirectly managing the team to ensure all arein line with company IT policy and ensuring agreedstandards followed
Working with the managers or supervisors on improvementinitiatives to reduce cost and/or improve service
Exploring and implementing additional functionality related to boththe Software and Hardware systems
Bug detection and fixing with all systems bothSoftware and Hardware.
Implementing all system updates and planning updates with thecorresponding teams or departments
Training operational staff during on-boarding and when updates orimprovements are made
Engaging the WMS supplier (Davanti) to ensure the system is workingcorrectly and improvements are completed
Engaging various Software and Hardware suppliers to maintain siterequirements
Closely monitor and control all expenditure, focusing on ITrelated costs and reacting quickly to adverse variances
Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by SiteManager
Additional Tasks
Assisting the operation as required by the site, including:
Support Business Development initiatives as and when required
Share best practice and standards with colleagues in other Newcold sites, andjoin collaborative projects
Continually look to opportunities for improvement

Educational Requirements
High School Degree
Bachelors in Degree in Information Systems or in a related field of expertise
Experience Requirements
5+ years of operational experience in cold storage IT and WMS systems
Implementation experience in IT and WMS systems for cold storage facilities
4+ years of experience in Training and Team Leadership experience within cross cultural environments.
