About Wireline and Perforating

Wireline & Perforating offers formation evaluation, cased-hole logging, and precision perforating services that support production and reservoir management. Our technologies deliver accurate subsurface data and efficient well access to help customers make confident decisions throughout the well lifecycle.

About the Role

The Account Representative - Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships across the Wireline & Perforating portfolio.

This role combines technical understanding of subsurface evaluation and perforating services with strong commercial execution to identify opportunities, position value-based solutions, and deliver profitable growth. The position partners closely with operations, engineering, and product teams to align Halliburton capabilities with customer needs and well objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue and increase market share within assigned and target accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
Identify customer technical and commercial needs related to formation evaluation, logging, and perforating services.
Deliver technical sales presentations and proposals, clearly articulating value and performance outcomes.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor positioning to identify new opportunities.
Lead or support commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract development.
Drive pipeline development, forecasting, and sales planning activities.
Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational execution.
Represent Halliburton in customer meetings, field visits, and industry events.
Contribute to business planning, including revenue targets, growth strategies, and account development plans.

Qualifications

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
3-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles within oil & gas.
Strong understanding of wireline, logging, perforating, or well intervention operations.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence customer decisions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines and deliver revenue growth.

Preferred
Experience in Wireline & Perforating or related subsurface services.
Proven track record managing accounts with $5M-$50M revenue scope.
Experience with performance-based contracts or value-based selling.
Exposure to multi-PSL or integrated service offerings.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Business Development Account Rep, Business Development Senior Account Rep, or Business Development Principal Account Rep.
