Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level 3 Network Engineer with deep expertise in Aruba Wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex wireless network environments, providing escalation support, and ensuring high availability and performance of wireless infrastructure across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Level 3 escalation point for all Aruba Wireless network-related issues.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Aruba wireless solutions, including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Instant Access Points (IAPs), ClearPass, and AirWave/Central.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of high-complexity wireless network issues.
  • Manage wireless LAN (WLAN) performance, including RF surveys, channel planning, and capacity planning.
  • Monitor and optimize wireless infrastructure using Aruba management tools.
  • Support seamless integration of wireless infrastructure with wired network and security systems.
  • Work closely with network architects to develop scalable and secure wireless network designs.
  • Assist with firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration changes following change management protocols.
  • Ensure wireless network compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
  • Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with a strong focus on wireless technologies.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Aruba Networks solutions, including:
  • Aruba Mobility Controllers (MMC/MDC)
  • Aruba Access Points (APs & IAPs)
  • Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager
  • Aruba AirWave or Aruba Central
  • Deep understanding of wireless protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and WLAN security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X).
  • Experience conducting and interpreting wireless site surveys (Ekahau or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, and firewalls.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark, CLI, and Aruba logs.
  • Experience working in complex, multi-site enterprise environments.
