Job description

Handcrafted Wine & Spirits is expanding into Missouri, and we are looking for highly motivated Sales Consultants to help launch and build our presence across the state. This is a rare opportunity to join an established and rapidly growing distributor at the ground level of a brand-new market expansion.
Unlike stepping into an existing territory, this role offers the chance to help shape the future of Handcrafted in Missouri - building relationships, developing territories, growing brands, and creating long-term success from day one.
Handcrafted Wine & Spirits is an established distributor operating in Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Oregon. We focus on discovering trends, building brands, and delivering exceptional service to our supplier and retail partners. We are bringing a fresh approach to Missouri with a dynamic portfolio of wines and spirits and a commitment to creating long-term partnerships in the market.
We are seeking energetic, self-motivated professionals with a passion for wine and spirits, strong relationship-building skills, and a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Present and sell Handcraftedโ€™s wine and spirits portfolio to retailers and restaurant partners.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Prospect and open new accounts.
  • Execute sales programs, promotions, and supplier initiatives.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across wine and spirits categories.
  • Conduct staff trainings, tastings, and consumer events.
  • Manage territory routing and account planning effectively.
  • Monitor inventory needs and communicate opportunities with management.
  • Maintain accurate account information and sales activity reporting.
  • Represent Handcrafted professionally in the marketplace.

Qualifications:
  • Previous wine, spirits, beer, beverage sales or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the Missouri market are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for wine and spirits from around the world.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively.
  • Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation required.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:
We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded individuals excited by the unique opportunity to help launch an established company into a new state. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to make an immediate impact, grow with the company, and be part of building something from the ground up in Missouri.
The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for someone who is personally accountable, highly organized, and driven to grow both their territory and career. Passion, hustle, and determination are essential.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary plus commission/bonus opportunity.
  • Car allowance and expense reimbursement.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) program.
  • Paid vacation and personal days.
  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
