Assist with all marketing initiatives and activities.Manage all copywriting, content, and communications efforts and projects in accordance with winery objectives, company vision, and overall brand standards.Maximize effective storytelling through various channels to increase brand awareness, sales, and membership.Responsible for internal communication channels, including manager-to-manager follow up, planning and project execution, employee announcements, sales programs and promotions, strategic planning, product updates, accolades, and standard operating procedures.Design and create digital messaging, email marketing and e-blasts, drip campaigns, SMS campaigns, etc.Design and create messaging for advertising, marketing materials, physical newsletters, displays and point of sale (POS), media scripts, press releases/press alerts, presentations, speeches, labels, etc.Oversee company blog, organic social media, and paid social media campaigns to include overall schedule and content management, and analytics review to optimize results.Coordinate marketing calendars, content schedules, promotional deadlines, and cross-department communication.Liaison with public relations firm to assist with all public relations projects and initiatives, coordinate external relations projects, and send news alerts to appropriate contacts.Establish community and industry partnerships and maintain rapport and relationships with clients, vendors, customers, club members, industry partners, media, and other business associates.Support maintenance of customer and member databases with emphasis on customer capture, segmentation, and targeting.Utilize emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and new programs, to streamline and bolster marketing efforts and overall sales.Coordinate asset creation and editing of high-quality, brand-aligned photography and videography material.Assist with website management, website development, SEO ranking, and artificial intelligence (AI) optimization.Assist with development, expansion, and diversification of digital sales, digital advertising, and overall e-commerce sales channels.Assist with company feedback programs, surveys, online reviews, and other feedback methodsPerform other duties as required including assisting other departments as neededPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSCompetency Statement(s)Related degree and/or 3-5 years of experienceA genuine interest in wine, hospitality, events, food, travel, lifestyle, and a local Texas brand.Understand fundamentals of copywriting, content creation, and communications, and how it complements Marketing and how it supports overall Brand buildingSocial media knowledge with ability to write, generate and design content and product creative ideasOrganized, proactive, collaborative, and able to balance creative execution with measurable business goals.Able to operate a personal computer and be familiar with a variety of computer programs, including graphic design, desktop publishing, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Orderport, etc.Strong photography and videography capabilities including image capture and editing skillsExcellent communicator and relationship builderPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
