Job description

Overview

Employer:        Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits LLC

Job Title:         Director of Product Operations, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)

Locations:        2300 SW 145th Avenue, Miramar, FL 33027

                        14911 Quorum Drive, Dallas, TX 75254

Duties
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of ML operations practices and tools to streamline the development, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze model performance metrics, identifying opportunities for further optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to implement automated hyperparameter tuning pipelines, leveraging industry standard tools.
  • Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team of data platform operations professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, information technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data management, ML operations, and cloud computing and drive the adoption of industry best practices within the organization.
  • May telecommute but must reside near Miramar, Florida headquarters or Dallas, Texas office.
  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related field; plus 7 years of experience in job offered or similar occupation. 
  • At least 7 years of experience in ML platform operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of ML operations tools and frameworks, cloud platforms, security and compliance, risk management, CI/CD, strategic thinking and innovation, stakeholder management, and change management.
