Job description

About Wine.com

Wine.com is the nationโ€™s leading online wine retailer, connecting millions of customers with the worldโ€™s finest wines. Weโ€™re a data-driven, fast-moving team that takes performance marketing seriously โ€” and weโ€™re building the team to match our ambitions.

About the Role

Weโ€™re looking for a Growth Marketing Associate to join our in-house paid media team. Paid search is your core discipline โ€” you know Google Ads cold, youโ€™ve managed Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, and you think in terms of ROAS and contribution margin. Youโ€™ll own search while contributing across paid social and other channels as part of a collaborative, full-funnel acquisition team. Hybrid/Remote.

A Day in the Life

โ€ข Own and optimize paid search campaigns (brand, non-brand, Shopping, and Performance Max) across national and regional efforts

โ€ข Manage Google Merchant Center feeds โ€” structure, optimization, and troubleshooting

โ€ข Build and iterate on campaigns with a test & learn mindset: copy, bids, audiences, match types

โ€ข Leverage value-based bidding and offline conversion data to optimize toward business outcomes โ€” efficient revenue, margin, and customer LTV growth

โ€ข Partner with CRM, Product, and Engineering on first-party audience strategies and feed quality

โ€ข Monitor performance daily; build and maintain dashboards in enterprise reporting tools

โ€ข Collaborate cross-channel with the broader Digital Acquisition team on full-funnel strategy

What Sets You Apart

โ€ข Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Shopping, and Performance Max โ€” not theoretical

โ€ข Youโ€™ve worked in ecommerce or retail; you understand product feeds, margin economics, and seasonal buying patterns

โ€ข Comfortable with data: pulling reports, managing spreadsheets, connecting performance signals to business impact, and knowing when numbers are telling the truth

โ€ข Building AI-powered workflows and automations in a marketing context โ€” this is how you work, not something youโ€™re curious about someday

โ€ข Adaptable โ€” privacy changes, platform shifts, and algorithm updates donโ€™t rattle you

โ€ข Eager to expand into paid social and other channels over time

โ€ข Attention to detail is in your DNA

โ€ข Passion for wine & spirits is a definite plus

Education & Experience

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree

โ€ข 2โ€“4 years of paid search / SEM experience with hands-on Shopping and Performance Max campaign management required

โ€ข Ecommerce or retail vertical experience required

โ€ข Google Merchant Center and feed management experience required

โ€ข Adobe Analytics experience preferred

โ€ข Paid social experience (Meta, TikTok, etc.) is a plus

โ€ข Search Ads 360 experience is a plus

Compensation Range

Base salary: $65,000 โ€“ $85,000 annually, based on experience.
