Job Summary


B&A is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site position. If you are interested and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this exciting and impactful opportunity.

  • Anticipated Award: September/October 2026
  • Anticipated Start: September/October 2026
  • Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years
  • Salary Range: $140,000 – $200,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location

  • On-site in Northern Virginia

Responsibilities

  • Administers and sustains Windows server and workstation environments and supporting platforms (email, storage, databases, and hardware) to maximize availability and utilization.
  • Supports LAN/WAN operations in alignment with CIO, communications, and information security policies.
  • Assesses proposed operating changes for impact to network and system performance.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex system and network performance issues using advanced network analysis tools, applying logic and cost/benefit tradeoffs to select and implement solutions.
  • Delivers customer-focused support in multi-system/multi-application environments and communicates technical procedures clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.


Education and Experience

  • Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience
  • Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience
  • Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience
  • Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or other related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines.

Security Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years
