Job Description

Enterprise Windows Server OS Engineer focusing on Engineering and Operations support of our Data Center and Retail Branch Server OSI environments. 

The strategic direction of this position is to provide design, implementation and operations support of packaged Windows Server 2012R2, 2008R2 and VMWare/Hyper-V Management to provide a comprehensive solution to our Enterprise and Retail Business needs. OS engineer will deploy and maintain infrastructure, migrate existing engineered solutions to compliance and interface with business champions, architecture leads and engineering peers to ensure technology standards and business requirements are met.

Virtualization skills are key!  Networking background is strongly desired.  

Qualifications
  • Windows enterprise server experience 2003, 2008, 2012
  • Current experience, working knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Perform analysis, planning, design, troubleshooting in support of selected data center projects
  • Focus on Windows systems and architecture
  • Prepare design and engineering documents around windows platforms
  • Support application teams for technology builds
  • Work with teams to test applications
  • Work with senior architects on capacity planning
  • Live near the I-285/400 location
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
  • VCP Certification a plus
  • Cisco Certifications a plus
