Job description

Local MSP is staffing for the upcoming 2020 client projects. Multiple opportunities exist for qualified network support professionals for 6 – 12-month engagements.
You will work with a team of experienced IT professionals to manage and support network hardware and peripherals on a Windows Server platform.  Primary duties will involve design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance in multi-site enterprises. 
Compensation: DOE.
Job Requirements:
  • 4- year degree or equivalent verifiable, directly related, work experience.
  • Ability to work in a project team environment.
  • Professional Certifications:  Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Cisco  ( one or more is preferred).
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in downtown Philadelphia, PA; shift work may be required.

We are seeking professionals with hands-on, paid/professional, installation and support experience with any of the following technologies:
  • Windows Server (2012/2016) - Hyper-V, Clustering.
  • VMware - vSphere, Virtualization Administration and Management.
  • Office 365 / Microsoft Exchange Server  ( On-Prem and Hybrid ).
  • Azure.
  • SharePoint.
  • SQL Server.
  • Group Policy.
  • Microsoft Systems Center.
  • Network Security, Multi-Factor Authentication.
  • Enterprise Backup.
  • Experience with SAN Administration (a plus).
  • Active Directory Administration and Maintenance (2012, 2016).
  • Server Administration / Windows • Backup and recovery systems.
  • Experience in MSP software, configuring, and monitoring through central management software.

Additional requirements include:
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to participate in after-hours on-call support rotation.
  • Ability to create technical documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of clients.
