About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Infrastructure Engineer to join the File Transfer Operations Support (FTOS) team. FTOS is responsible for the engineering, operational support, stability, security, and modernization of enterprise-managed file transfer platforms that enable critical business and partner data exchanges across the company. The team supports technologies including Connect:Direct (NDM), Axway SecureTransport, SAFET, Secure Proxy, and related infrastructure.

This role is a key contributor within the FTOS organization, responsible for ensuring platform reliability, resolving complex production issues, delivering automation and modernization initiatives, and partnering with application, infrastructure, and security teams to provide secure, highly available file transfer services. The position offers a combination of operational support, infrastructure engineering, automation, and technical leadership opportunities.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support and engineer enterprise file transfer platforms including Connect:Direct, Axway SecureTransport, SAFET, Secure Proxy, and related infrastructure
  • Lead production incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts for critical business services
  • Develop automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, service reliability, and platform scalability
  • Execute platform upgrades, lifecycle management activities, technology refreshes, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Implement and support secure file transfer solutions, including certificates, encryption, authentication, and integration onboarding
  • Utilize monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve service issues
  • Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure stable and secure service delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership through documentation, mentoring, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of production support experience in mission-critical enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of experience supporting file transfer technologies such as Connect:Direct (NDM), Axway SecureTransport, Axway Synchrony Suite, Secure Proxy, Managed File Transfer (MFT), or similar platforms
  • 3+ years of technical troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise file transfer or Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments
  • Experience supporting Linux and Windows server environments
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, or similar tools
  • Experience implementing automation using scripting, Ansible, or related infrastructure automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of certificates, encryption, authentication, and secure communications protocols
  • Experience leading major incident response, outage remediation, and post-incident review activities
  • Strong technical leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow incident, change, problem, and request management processes

Job Expectations:

  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting business-critical FTOS services
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed to support production incidents and maintenance activities

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
