Screen Repair Associate Part-Time

E amp;H Ace Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Screen Repair Associate to join our team. This role focuses on repairing and fabricating window and door screens, performing small equipment maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.


What You’ll Do:

Screen amp; Window Repair Services

  • Repair and rebuild window and door screens accurately

  • Fabricate new screen frames to customer specifications

  • Cut and reglaze glass windows as needed

  • Provide detailed repair quotes and explain services clearly to customers

  • Communicate repair updates and timelines

Small Equipment Maintenance amp; Additional Services

  • Sharpen chainsaw chains, mower blades, and other small tools

  • Ensure safe and proper use of sharpening equipment

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Inventory Management amp; Ordering

  • Order and replenish screen repair materials and supplies

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels and communicate needs to management

Customer Service amp; Sales Support

  • Greet and assist customers with knowledgeable advice on repairs

  • Answer phone inquiries regarding repairs and pricing

  • Assist customers in selecting materials for custom screen and window solutions

Store Operations amp; General Support

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and transactions

  • Ensure signage and pricing accuracy for screen repair services

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Ability to climb ladders and operate equipment with proper training
