Job description

Do you have experience or an interest in Wind Energy? An incredible opportunity in the Wind Farm industry to join Deutsche Windtechnik as a Site Coordinator in our Cedar Creek II New Raymer, CO location. In this newly created position, you will provide support to the Site Manager and other team members. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of activities including but not limited to checking in and out parts and tooling, ensuring accurate inventories, calendaring, supporting travel, managing high-priority workflows and approvals, processing expense reporting, organizing meeting notes and other due diligence information and assigned duties. You will have the ability to manage and proactively build relationships across the wind industry. If you have experience supporting or familiarity with wind farm operations, along with inventory tracking, you will rank high in our search.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Handle all administrative matters for site manager and team members, including but not limited to checking in and out parts and tooling, coordinating events, scheduling meetings, overseeing all travel arrangements.
  • Assist with logistical needs in regard to regional tooling and spare parts movements
  • Assist technicians with all service orders, timesheets, and expenses
  • Anticipate needs of the Site Manager and provide support as appropriate
  • Compile weekly functional area reporting data
  • Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly team meetings
  • Check daily service orders, reports, and timesheets for accuracy
  • Utilize and leverage technology to perform responsibilities, including a commitment to maintaining electronic records and other digital mediums
  • Assist in all areas of site operations
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures and customer site rules 
  • Organize and track all inventory for the wind farm
  • Interact positively and professionally with external and internal teams
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting wind farm operations or familiarity with wind farm operations, preferred
  • Experience in inventory tracking and management, ideally in wind farm
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with significant experience proactively and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven track record of being calm and focused under pressure, maintaining professional interactions with associates at all levels and establishing rapport quickly
  • Discretion when working with sensitive company and personal information
  • Self-directed, reliable, and independent when necessary to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize time sensitive and competing issues
  • Flexibility to be available during atypical hours if a high-priority event arises
  • Proficiency in MS Office and operation of office equipment
  • Professional, positive, and efficient

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Graduate / GED required
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting wind farm operations, preferred
