Job Description:

The Wilsonart Quartz Regional Sales Representative will drive Quartz growth by leading strategic engagement with both independent distribution and company owned management, sales and specification teams. This role will work directly with large fabrication companies to increase Wilsonart Quartz visibility, will develop and drive OEM relationships and work with your piers to ensure seamless availability of Wilsonart Quartz across north America.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Promote and Sell Wilsonart Quartz

  • Grow Wilsonart Quartz and related marketing programs.
  • Work alongside leadership to develop programs to expand markets and market share in north America.
Manage Independent Distribution Sales Teams
  • Work with Id leadership to drive growth in Wilsonart Quartz
  • Train sales and specification team to enhance their ability to promote Wilsonart Quartz.
  • Engage and encourage sales and specification teams to increase focus on Wilsonart Quartz.
  • Drive project teams to ensure our specifications from concept to fabrication.
Manage Company Owned Sales Teams
  • Work with company owned leadership to drive growth in Wilsonart Quartz
  • Train sales and specification team to enhance their ability to promote Wilsonart Quartz
  • Engage and encourage sales and specification teams to maintain focus on Wilsonart Quartz
  • Drive project teams to ensure our specifications from concept to fabrication.
Work with Major Fabrication Partners
  • Secure placement of samples and marketing collateral with major Quartz and Natural Stone fabricators in your region.
  • Engage with Wilsonart Quartz Fabrication Council members on major developments and encourage feedback to improve sales and operations.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams (Sales Leadership, Product Mgmt., Design, Marketing,) on tools and products needed to strengthen Wilsonart's position in the industry.
Develop OEM Partnerships
  • Identify and develop original equipment manufacturers "OEM's", i.e. manufactured housing, recreational vehicles, boating, and office furniture, and medical device companies to utilize Wilsonart Quartz.
Industry Engagement
  • Work with ISFA, NSI, SFA, and other organizations to increase visibility of Wilsonart Quartz.
  • Engage local sales teams to become involved in local activities to promote Wilsonart Quartz.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activities, and outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Product Expertise: Knowledge of Wilsonart's full product line and understanding of its marketing performance.
Sales Capability: Strong ability to sell products and concepts, influencing decision-makers and driving adoption.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with all levels of the organization and external customers.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations, reporting, and data analysis.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a demanding environment.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as required to meet business objectives.
Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver professional public presentations to diverse audiences, including executives and industry professionals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing or a similar field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
  • 5+ years of field selling or specification experience is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50 lbs)
