Cabinet spraying involves professional use of spray equipment for a smooth, high-quality finish, often requiring specialized training. Cabinet painting is more accessible, typically involving brushes or rollers, and may be performed by DIYers or general contractors. Both methods aim to refurbish cabinets but differ in technique, finish quality, and professional requirements.

What is cabinet spraying?

Cabinet spraying is a professional process where paint or finish is applied to cabinets using a spray gun rather than traditional brushes or rollers. This method provides a smooth, even, and durable finish that can make old cabinets look new again. Cabinet spraying is often chosen for kitchen or bathroom renovations because it offers a high-quality, factory-like appearance and can be more efficient for large or intricate surfaces.

What are some common challenges faced by cabinet spraying professionals and how can they be managed?

Cabinet spraying professionals often encounter challenges such as achieving a smooth, even finish on various cabinet materials, managing dust and ventilation in the workspace, and ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepped before spraying. These challenges can be managed by using industry-standard ventilation systems, investing in quality spray equipment, and following a thorough prep process that includes cleaning, sanding, and masking. Additionally, working closely with team members, such as carpenters and finishers, helps ensure each project meets client expectations and is completed efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cabinet Spraying Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Cabinet Spraying Specialist, you need expertise in surface preparation, paint application techniques, and knowledge of finishing materials, often gained through experience or vocational training. Familiarity with spray guns, paint booths, air compressors, and safety equipment is crucial, along with understanding products like lacquers and sealants. Attention to detail, patience, and good communication skills help ensure high-quality finishes and effective client interactions. These skills are essential for delivering durable, attractive results and maintaining safety and efficiency in both residential and commercial environments.

We are currently accepting and reviewing applications. We will call you if you are selected to be interviewed. So make sure to answer our call, or have your voicemail set up.

DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS, WE CAN'T GIVE UPDATES OVER THE PHONE. IF OUR HR SELECTION TEAM FEELS YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT, THEY WILL REACH OUT TO YOU.

BUILD YOUR FUTURE AT TWIN OAKS!
Are you career-minded? Do you have a strong work ethic and take great pride in always doing your best? Would you like to work for a solid company that truly values your drive, skills, and your efforts? If so, Twin Oaks may have just the position for you!

Our Core Values:

  • Extreme Ownership - Challenges are part of the deal. Instead of being caught off guard, we expect adversity and meet it with resilience and responsibility. We focus on what we can control, take the right step, and contribute with solutions instead of excuses or complaints. Taking responsibility is where real power begins--it turns obstacles into opportunities.
  • Better than Yesterday - We don't settle--we improve. Every day is a chance to sharpen our skills, raise our quality, improve our systems, and explore new ways to serve our customers. No one has to push us--we push ourselves. When each of us gets better, the whole team levels up.
  • Be a Good Teammate - Being on a team is a privilege, not a right. We give up the right to be selfish, negative, and apathetic when others depend on us. We show up engaged, supportive, and respectful of others--especially when things get tough. Good teammates are genuine people who make things better just by being a part of the team and help create a culture others want to be part of.
  • Play for the Front of the Jersey- We collaborate beyond silos and play like a team. We help where we're needed, even if it's "not our job". We care how our work impacts other teams and the company as a whole. We assume positive intent, support each other, and work like we're all on the same side, because we are. A win in one area means nothing if the rest of the business is falling behind. When we operate as one aligned unit, we respond faster, solve problems better, and keep the momentum moving forward.
  • Details Define Us - We believe excellence lives in the small things. Every label, email, measurement, and moment matters-because how we do anything is how we do everything. Pride in the details builds trust and sets us apart.

Our Team:

We value our team of skilled craftsmen and knowledgeable sales support staff. We seek career-minded individuals who desire to give their professional best. Our company is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is highly organized, detail-oriented, growth-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A successful candidate is a team player who will be able to maintain good interpersonal relations with team members, vendors, and clients.

Purpose of Position:

We are currently looking for a motivated team member to work on our cabinet spray team in our finish department. We believe that an excellent, high quality finish sets our cabinets apart.
