Job description

Wildlife Removal Technician

We are hiring a Wildlife Removal Technician to join a fast-growing, field-ready team. In this role, you will solve real problems for homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients by removing nuisance wildlife, repairing entry points, and helping protect properties long-term. This position includes a 6-month probationary period with a pay progression review upon successful completion.

Compensation

Pay is based on experience, certifications, and proven field skills. Candidates with prior wildlife control, construction, roofing, or pest control experience may qualify for a higher starting rate.

What You'll Do

β€’ Inspect attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and structures
β€’ Identify wildlife species, damage, and entry points
β€’ Set traps, remove animals, and perform exclusion repairs (attics, crawlspaces, roofs, stucco, etc.)
β€’ Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers
β€’ Document work using photos and notes within GorillaDesk

Requirements

β€’ Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
β€’ Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
β€’ Strong communication skills with customers and team members
β€’ Must have the ability to use ladders, traverse roofs safely, and work in tight spaces
β€’ Ability to lift 50+ lbs overhead
β€’ High School Diploma or GED
β€’ Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record
β€’ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Desired Qualifications

β€’ Construction, roofing, handyman, or maintenance experience
β€’ Pest control license is a plus
