Job description

  • Lead, manage, and grow the Wholesale business in a brand-enhancing manner
  • Hold full P&L responsibility for the Wholesale business unit
  • Lead a large team across Sales, Sales Operations, Merchandising, Shops, and Customer Care for Life is Good and Keep it Simple
  • Lead 19 Independent and In-House sales representatives
  • Travel to meet key customers and attend relevant trade shows
  • Build sales plans and implement customer retention and acquisition strategies
  • Oversee wholesale-specific applications, B2B websites, sales reports, sell-in/sell-through analysis, inventory forecasting, and delivery coordination with production and fulfillment
  • Lead merchandising collaboration with the Product team on seasonal, monthly, and at-once product offerings
  • Oversee 51 independently owned and operated Life is Good Shops and one company-owned location
  • Ensure shop assortment, marketing, and in-store experience needs are met
  • Visit stores, recruit new owners, and encourage existing owners to open new locations
  • Lead the wholesale customer care team
  • Analyze the business using Life is Good technology and tools, including AI
  • Form successful cross-functional partnerships with Leadership Team members and their teams
  • Meet annual goals and demonstrate company-first leadership aligned with company values
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibility for an enterprise Wholesale business
  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience
  • Documented success growing top- and bottom-line results with a large team
  • Knowledge gained through achieving at least a bachelor's degree level of educational experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to support the business
  • Live near, or be willing to relocate to, Boston, Massachusetts
  • Maintain a steady and optimistic demeanor
  • Be an enthusiastic brand ambassador and cultural leader
  • Speak and write clearly, simply, and succinctly
  • Share a passion for social impact
  • Form successful cross-functional partnerships with Leadership Team members and their teams
