Sagamore Spirit is a contemporary premium American Rye Whiskey proudly produced in Maryland (Baltimore). We are driven to craft the world's best rye whiskey from grain to glass.
Summary:
The Bartender will craft handmade rye whiskey cocktails at Sagamore Distillery's Cocktail Bar. The Bartender will be relied on to complete day-to-day bar functions, ensuring these services meet the standards set by the Bar Manager and the Hospitality Department. Bartenders will also maintain guest relations and relay relevant brand information to guests. They can also staff private events, work large scale summer events, and assist with any side project that the bar program assumes, such as feature cocktails and bar product productions. Prep shifts are also available, provided relevant experience.

Skill Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty with passion and poise expected of every Sagamore Spirit teammate. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

Candidate Requirements:
  • Over the age of 21
  • Minimum of one year bartending experience, craft bar experience a plus
  • Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to operate store systems accurately, move throughout the store and in between floors and lift 30+ pounds
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the business
  • Must be able to travel regionally, if necessary
  • Exceptional team player with excellent interpersonal skills
