As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you lead corporate accounting operations, with a focus on GAAP compliance, G&A expenses, and financial reporting, ensuring financial accuracy, strong controls, and clear insight for decision-makers. Your leadership helps safeguard the integrity of our numbers while enabling growth and scale.
In this role, you make a difference by delivering reliable financial reporting and strengthening processes that protect the business. You win as one by working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and business leaders to align goals and drive results. Day-to-Day Ingredients - Responsibilities
As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you will:
  • Lead corporate accounting operations, with a focus on G&A and general ledger accuracy
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial results
  • Support consolidated financial reporting and corporate reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally to support business initiatives and decision-making
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Coach, develop, and manage performance of assigned team members

You Bring to the Table - Required Experience
As a Corporate Accounting Manager, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of key accounting processes
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP including experience with accruals, estimates, and period-end adjustments
  • Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes, including driving timeliness and accuracy in a corporate environment
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis
  • Experience supporting corporate accounting functions, including G&A expense accounting and accruals
  • Experience ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Ability to translate financial results into operational insights and support data-driven decision-making
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and performance management skills including driving accountability and continuous development
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners (Marketing, Legal, IT, Human Resources)

Extra Toppings - Desired Experience
As a Corporate Accounting Manager, we prefer you to have:
  • CPA or CPA eligibility
  • Exposure to system enhancements or process transformation initiatives
  • Background supporting audits or external reporting requirements

Where & How You'll Work
This role is based at the San Antonio Home Office, working on-site Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. In this role, you'll have strong collaboration with leadership, across cross-functional teams, and with external partners to align capabilities with restaurant realities. The work environment is fast-paced and requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Full-time availability is required, with occasional extended hours based on business needs, along with occasional travel to properties, project sites, and external meetings. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the San Antonio Home Office.
