Job description

Western Region SAP Business Development Representative (BDR)

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a sales-focused career with an opportunity for career path. It is a quota carrying role primarily supporting the Western Region sales efforts. The overall mission of the BDR is to build a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities in the mid-market space.

The primary responsibilities of the BDR are to:

  • Prospect, identify and qualify leads for the western region SR Account Executive (AE) by making cold calls, sending emails, and utilizing digital sales technologies and social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Conduct research as necessary on companies and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting our sales efforts
  • Set and facilitate introductory meetings for the assigned AE(s)
  • Drive incremental pipeline in assigned territory
  • Establish strong relationships, communicate, collaborate and strategize with key stakeholders, including Answerthink and SAP AE's to help pursue business opportunities
  • Update and maintain data in Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting

Qualification / Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong Business Acumen
  • A high-energy team player with the ability to develop strong relationships
  • Self-starter, focused and results-oriented drive for personal growth
  • Excellent verbal & written presentation skills
  • Proven ability of managing or working as part of virtual team
  • Quota driven and a strong desire to succeed
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years' business development in the software industry
