Western Regional Sales Director (Western US)

Alarm.com, a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial technology leader, is seeking a proven sales leader to drive growth across our Western Region (Texas and Western U.S.) while leading a high-performing team of Account Executives.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for accelerating partner growth, strengthening executive-level relationships, expanding market share, and developing a team of field sales professionals. The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen, exceptional coaching skills, and a passion for creating value for Alarm.com partners.

This role oversees a team of five remote Account Executives and requires approximately 70% travel throughout the territory.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Growth Leadership

  • Own revenue growth, retention, and market expansion across the Western Region.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Build executive-level relationships with key Alarm.com partners to drive long-term business growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase adoption of Alarm.com solutions across residential and commercial markets.
  • Monitor regional performance metrics and implement action plans to exceed growth targets.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of remote Account Executives.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture focused on execution and results.
  • Conduct regular field coaching, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Share best practices and drive consistency in sales execution across the region.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Partner Success, and Executive Leadership teams to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the field by providing market intelligence, competitive insights, and partner feedback.
  • Support strategic initiatives that improve partner engagement, retention, and long-term success.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of achieving growth objectives.
  • Proven success in account management, business development, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% throughout the territory.

Preferred

  • Prior sales leadership or people management experience.
  • Experience leading remote field-based sales teams.
  • Background in SaaS, security, technology, or channel sales environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic partner relationships and driving regional growth initiatives.
