Registered Nurse II - Winter Temporary Program
Acute Care Units | Newark & Wilmington Campuses

The Winter Temporary RN Program is more than a seasonal opportunity. It's a chance to earn supplemental income while building relationships, expanding your acute care experience, and showcasing your skills within one of the region's leading healthcare organizations. Many participants use this program to explore different specialty areas, strengthen their clinical expertise, and position themselves for future career opportunities at ChristianaCare.

Program Dates- **Two Options**
  • 24-Week Option: October 25, 2026 - March 13, 2027
  • 12-Week Option: December 6, 2026 - February 27, 2027

  • 12-hour day or night shifts
  • Choose 48 or 72 hours per pay period
  • Work in one assigned unit for the duration of the program
  • No floating to other units
  • Opportunities across 40+ Acute Care units, including:
    • Medical
    • Surgical
    • Progressive Care
    • Step-Down
    • Transitional Care

Requirements
  • 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting required
  • BLS certification required
  • BSN preferred; ADN required
  • Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area
  • Complete two days of orientation
  • Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program
  • Meet weekend and holiday commitment

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
