Job description

Reports to: Studio Manager

Wellness Sales Associate Position:

The Wellness Sales Associate is most often the first and last point of contact for current members as well as prospective members. We are looking for friendly, outgoing and curious individuals who are dedicated to learning about the prospects and members that the studio serves. Additionally, they ensure the studio is a clean and inviting space.

Wellness Sales Associate Duties:

New Member Acquisition and Retention:

  • Booking Appointments
  • Contacting leads in a timely manner to establish relationship and get them booked

Studio Tours & Education:

  • Be knowledgeable about products, programs and pricing

Membership Sales:

  • Following a successful intro offer experience, you will present the best membership or session package option based on the guest’s goals
  • Meet & exceed sales goals and member retention as established by the General Manager

Other:

  • Assists with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment
  • Participate in grassroots marketing/community events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, pop-ups and community and hospital events) to promote the studio

Wellness Sales Associate Job Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
  • Strong customer service and phone skills
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets
  • Proficient computer skills & the ability to learn and use the studio software system
  • Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
  • Attend special events and trainings as needed
  • Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment, using sound judgment

Wellness Sales Associate Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time.
  • May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car.
  • This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
