Wellness Nurse

Aegis Living Ballard is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents.

We will give our Nurses set schedules with the option of flexibility, a focus on being a clinical expert on the floor, and a clear career growth path.

The Wellness Nurse is an integral member of our nursing team, contributing health care expertise to promote an environment of optimal living for our residents. Our Nurses will provide clinical expertise to our senior residents with ongoing assessments and monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Aegis Living Ballard is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Our nurses are supported by a team of Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and our Health Services Director.

Schedule: PT- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, with rotating Fridays and Saturdays

What You Will Do:

  • Wound care
  • Medication Management
  • Provide nursing services to residents
  • Communication with families and physicians
  • Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
  • Hands-on nursing care
  • Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
  • Communicate care plan changes to staff
  • Audit eMARS, med cart
  • Participate in training of care staff

Who You Are:

  • RN/ LPN License that is active and in good standing
  • A passion to work with our amazing seniors!
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work hard, support your team and build fun into the job
  • Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
