The Wellbeing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while allowing you the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals committed to impactful mental health care. While our counseling services are primarily offered in an outpatient setting, the flexibility of remote work enables you to conduct sessions that are convenient for both you and your clients, enhancing accessibility and engagement. You will also participate in regular team meetings to ensure collaboration and continuity of care across our service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments that capture the individual needs and history of each client, ensuring tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Facilitate effective communication among supervisors, direct care staff, families, and significant others, providing updates on clients' progress to optimize treatment plans.
  • Develop and manage tentative schedules that balance client needs with therapists' availabilities, including home visits and therapeutic sessions.
  • Oversee and coordinate home visits necessary for in-home observations, involve reviews of charts, conduct staff interviews, and perform data analysis to monitor client outcomes.
  • Ensure the implementation of individualized treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to promote effective outcomes for each client.
  • Engage actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to review case progress and collaborate on best practices for client care.
  • Document patient progress through comprehensive monthly and quarterly notes that reflect changes and improvements.
  • Organize training sessions that certify team members in the implementation of program plans and effective documentation practices.
  • Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits, ensuring clients receive the care they need as their circumstances evolve.
  • Maintain meticulous records that are accessible to relevant stakeholders, safeguarding continuity of care.
  • Act as a liaison with the public and collaborate with the broader mental health community to further development goals and initiatives.
  • Assist in creating and refining training materials aimed at enhancing service delivery and program effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will engage with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, providing counseling for a range of issues including but not limited to trauma recovery, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
