Account Managers have a key role in delivering OneDigital's value proposition. They are critical players in developing client relationships and in overall client retention. Account Managers partner with a Client Service Team to retain a shared book of business.

Account Managers are knowledgeable about every component of their clients' benefit programs and other OneDigital business vertical services. They meet with client teams to plan and execute critical components of the strategic plan for client's benefit programs. Account Managers project manage the client's annual open enrollment and renewal implementation process. Account Managers develop and implement customized communication strategies including communication modes, tools, vendors, and Open Enrollment and New Hire Orientation meetings. This role also coordinates client's wellbeing initiatives and incorporates this into the overarching communication strategy. Account Managers help facilitate the support of a client's benefit enrollment system.

Account Managers are responsible for responding to client day-to-day needs, handling escalations, and creating solutions to meet and exceed client expectations.

Account Managers partner with a cross-section of internal teammates and external vendor partners to meet client deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Works as a part of a team to effectively retain a book of business.

Builds excellent client and vendor partner relationships.

Assesses the nature of a problem and works toward a quick resolution.

Effectively communicates with all members of the client team, keeping them informed of key developments, delays, and client requests.

Communicates clear timelines for client's open enrollment and renewal implementation.

Knowledgeable about, and stays current on, employee communication, wellbeing, and benefits administration best practices, vendors, tools, and solutions.

Updates OneDigital's internal system of record to document client work, meetings, project status, client-related documents, and other client details.

Educates clients' employees on employee benefits, wellbeing programs, and how to enroll.

Effectively project manages open enrollment, new hire orientations, wellbeing programs, communications, and benefit administration needs.

Guides and directs the work of the Communications team for development of client deliverables including booklets, brochures, flyers, postcards, benefits-at-a-glance, custom animated videos, and more.

Conducts working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, including future client benefit plans, enrollment processes, necessary eligibility and integration needs with other vendors and carriers.

Provides clients with visibility of employer compliance requirements and timelines.

Effectively project manages implementation of new policies.

. Ensures employer and employee policy applications and amendments are completed timely and accurately.

. Ensures that contracts that are issued comply with sold policies.

Travels independently as needed to meet with clients and host employee group meetings.

Point of escalation for plan implementation, open enrollment, and other client-related issues.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Finds a better way; promotes and recommends ideas for improvement.

Attends training opportunities, reads and shares industry knowledge, regularly participates in coursework to either earn or maintain professional designations.

Uses tools and systems (e.g. D365, MS Word, Excel, etc.) to enhance the job.

Maintains a positive can-do attitude.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Works independently, with little day-to-day direct supervision.

This position involves light lifting and transporting of boxes that may weigh up to 25 pounds each.

This position will require getting to and from client locations and physical office. For that, reliable transportation and punctuality is required.

Education, Training and Experience:

Two or more years of experience in health & welfare benefits preferred

An earned Individual Producers License in Health and Life Insurances or obtain within 90 days of employment

At minimum, High school diploma required.

College degree and any other professionally related designations are preferred

Broker experience preferred

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
